The fastest way to get off track in life is to become obsessed with the wrong desires. Desires, in and of themselves, are not bad or evil. Scripture shows us all over that God has desires, and since we were made in His image, we are also created to desire. The Christian life is about seeking to live out of Godly desires rather than worldy desires.
