Sept 20 | Battle Cry: The War You’re Already In
Whether we recognize it or not, there is a battle raging around us—and within us.
In Judges 6, Gideon is hiding when God calls him a mighty warrior. Israel is oppressed, fear has taken hold, and Gideon feels completely unequipped for the fight in front of him. Yet God’s response isn’t to remove him from the battle. It’s to call him into it.
The same call confronts the Church today: Recognize the war. Then fight.
But our battle isn’t against flesh and blood. We fight against the enemy, we fight for people rather than against them, and we fight for our own hearts and minds in a world constantly trying to shape them.
This is a call to wake up, put on the armor of God, and fight the good fight of faith.
