SCRIPTURE: Acts 12:19-25

Luke describes in great detail the occasion and cause of the death of Herod, the tyrant and great oppressor of God's people, the Church. He did not give God glory and, as we learn, God will not share His glory with anyone or anything and God struck him dead. We give God glory and we live God's story.
